New Online Self Survey

Self Survey Without A Surveyors Visit

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, you may be reluctant to have a surveyor visit your home, particularly if you are potentially vulnerable and are self-isolating. However, the need for a stairlift to aid you or a family member in your home does not wait.

In this unique situation, we can still help. Simply follow the guidance on this self survey tool and we will be able to provide a quote and possibly even install a stairlift for you.

Straight Stairlifts

By submitting these measurements, we can provide a free, no obligation quote without an initial visit to your property.

If required, we may still need to visit to confirm some measurements before we prepare the installation. However, if the measures and information provided are accurate, the price will still be valid.

We will provide you with a choice of stairlifts suitable for your staircase from our range of suppliers, including New, Rental and Pre-used options where available. Details of warranty, installation timescales and any specific information or works we will have to complete that we would normally discuss face to face, will be provided.

Attaching images of your staircase from top and bottom is important if you are able, as it ensures the best possible recommendation and an accurate quotation.
Step 1 - Overall length of staircase / floor to nose
We add on a set measure to ensure rail is cut to suit the staircase. In summary this measure is from top step to floor resting the tape measure on each step.

Step 2 - Width of stairs
Any width greater than 700mm or 27.5inches should not create an issue,
The measure be between skirting boards and/or any newel post

Step 3 - Available space to nearest obstacle at bottom
Please measure to any radiator, end of wall or doorway. From this we can identify whether a hinge track is required or whether the obstacle needs removing. We can arrange to resite radiator if required

Step 4 - Available space to nearest obstacle at top
We can establish whether there is space to get on and off the stairlift safely
