About Dolphin Mobility
We are members of the BHTA and subscribe to their Trading Standard Code of Practice and annually achieve CHAS certification.
We are currently one of the main stairlift and hoist supplier for East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Allerdale Borough Council, Copeland Borough Council, South Lakeland District, Barrow Borough and Housing, Carlisle City Council and Eden District Council.
Our office and showroom is located in the heart of Yorkshire in York, we service customers throughout the North and East Yorkshire and whole of Cumbria area with Straight and Curved stairlifts, Hoists, Through floor Home Lifts and steplifts.
Independence
Dolphin Mobility aim to stay totally independent in the supply of quality products in the disability market. This enables us to recommend the right equipment for each customer’s needs without compromising on quality or safety.
We work in partnership with a variety of suppliers and receive regular and up to date training to meet current standards and regulations.

Pushy salesman selling unsuitable products are the blight of our industry. At Dolphin we will never try to rush you into making a decision. We will only sell you equipment that is suitable for your conditions and needs with the information you provide to us.
Competitive Prices
We aim to keep our overheads low, allowing us to pass on our price benefits to all of our customers. The majority of our sales are generated through local authority grants and recommendations. We do not spend a significant amount of money on advertising, which is the largest overhead of many of our competitors.
